Does FlashTrax read RAW format data (from Canon, Nikon, etc)?.
FlashTrax can read any RAW format files from flash media and store them on its hard drive, just like JPEG’s. FlashTrax also provides the ability to view many RAW format files on its LCD.
看來是可以....
What is FlashTrax’ battery life?
It depends on what you’re doing: For MP3 playback, it’s about 3 hours. When using the LCD to view photos, it’s about 2 hours
有點短.....不知除了插ac之外能不能插車充...作者: 小酒蟲 時間: 2003-6-4 17:21 標題: 回覆: [敗家] FlashTrax 上市了 How much data can be transferred from CF before the battery runs down?
It depends on the flash card manufacturer, capacity, and number of separate transfers, but generally about 4 to 6 GB of data can be transfered before a full battery charge is depleted.
For example, you can transfer a full 256MB flash card to the hard drive about 18 times before depleting the battery (assuming LCD on).
Attached the new harddrive to your PC laptop (you will need a 3.5/2.5" cable adaptor) and then just partition the drive to it's full size, but do not format it.
Open the flashtrax by removing the 5 tiny screws on the underside (one of them is hidden under a sticker). Gently prise apart the 2 sides of the flashtrax.
VERY gently remove the ide cable from the end of the hard drive. Just use gently pressure and move it back and forwards. There are also 2 self adhesive rubber pads on the old drvie whcih should be removed and fitted to the new drive.
Attach the cable to the new drive and refit into the case (it just lies on top of the circuit board), and refit the Flashtrax back together with the 2 screws.
Bitt up the flashtrax and in the setup menu, go to the sub header "default etc" and then select "Format Hard Drive".
