標題: [求救]Zaurus愛恨交纏的問題
My C760 arrival and i 've start to convert the JP interface into EN, before converting to EN, those language like CH,JP,EN can display correctly.

After converting to EN, thos CH and JP can display correctly. I found that is the unicode fonts problem, but i still ve no ideas on fix this unicode problem.

Does any C760 user/ ppl ve this experiance and share the solution for it?
I've read and try many topic , but still can't fix this problem.

You can try to search 'efont' here or zuarus.cis92.net.

HI,ychao.
I've try to download the package of "efont " from zuarus.cis92.net. But the package include many type, also the name of font unzipped is called " helvetica"<----

then does the package correct?

Also, i found that there are many "type" of the font....helventica_80_50_t10.qpf<----wht means of number represent for?

I nee to install all size for my Z?B)

Please refer to czh's articles about efont and helvetica.
Since efont includes almost all the language characters, you can use it to display chinese, japanes, korean...

Oh....in the package from the zaurus.cis92.net, inside efont pack is helventica fonts. then wht can i do?
i ve read czh's article for localize but can't find his recommend "efont"......

Addition, why the problem goes out as i using the "# In -s /home/root/..." the message go out" In: not found"<---wht means of this?
any method to solve?B)

In that package efont is named as helvetica for english version ROM. (It doen't matter!)
It's ln not In. (L not I)

Then i need to remove the build in "lcfont" and helvetica" and then "link" the package font"helvetica" again?

Addition, heeee.....why i can't active the [img] in my signature dialog?

After checking, still ve some problem on displaying CH, the EN font looking is not gd for me...... i think i can make another font like the Arial unicode for my baby first....

I found that the CH sometime can't display correctly(some still in wrong display) until i reboot my Z
Thank you and i got the makqpf, but it can work in my c760 to convert the ttf to qpf?

makeqpf works in Linux OS.
You have to install a Linux system first. refer here:

Also t?? is for ratation. Please note that most of the english information applied on 5x00.
There are some differences between 5x00 and C7x0.

x: font name.
y: font size, 120=12pt, 100=10pt.........
z: 50 is normal, 75 is italic.
t10: transformed font which is used by C7X0.

RedHat 9.0 is very good.
I finished the ttf -> qpf font conversion by RedHat 9.0.

Hi BoxsterS...i try to install the Redhat 9 in VirtualPC....but i think is the virtual display problem cause it hasn't work.....
may be need to install it into a new PC...B)
