好奇的是，上網查了一下，加上之前在 PIL 討論的 pashmina 圍巾，
網路上（也加上 google），中、英文的網頁，
每個人所說的都不太一樣：
有人說，cashmere 是最高級的羊毛，只取一隻羊的羊毛中的 50公克羊絨製成，
而 pashmina 又是最高級的 cashmere 製成；
也有人說，pashmina 比 cashmere 更高級(似乎是說兩者不同)；
又有人說，兩者根本一樣，原文如下 ： （出自http://www.pashm.com/）
Pashmina is often inaccurately described as the highest quality of cashmere. In fact there is no difference between cashmere and pashmina. The highest quality of pashmina is the highest quality of cashmere, and the lowest pashmina is the lowest cashmere. Pashmina and cashmere refer to the same thing. The raw material comes from Tibet and Inner Mongolia.

真不知道到底兩者是相同還是不同？！說法都是莫衷一是。
Many people confuse Cashmere with Pashmina. Cashmere is defined as any wool under 19 microns thick from the same goat (Capra Hircus). Most cashmere is in the 16-18 micron range. Pashmina is only 12-14 microns thick. A human hair is 75 microns thick. So Pashmina is the finest and thinnest Cashmere.
