Recently Geogot released blackra1n (Windows and Mac version) to jailbreak iPhone and iPod Touch with 3.1.2 installed within 30 seconds. Blackra1n is slightly buggy and after jailbreaking iPhone, mobilesubstrate, iPhone browser, winterboard, diskaid, or ifunbox may stop working for you. The reason is simple – No support for afc2. All these application uses the afc2 service to access the file system but blackra1n utility do not register the afc2 service which is needed to access the root file system.
