I install this AP on my N700c and showed it to my colleague who cooperate with Telemap.
There's no complex technology in this AP.
But we all think the point is the map database, which should be support by our government.
I know the Japanese put lots of effort in such map information, that's also why the GPS in Japan
  is so outstanding.
  
The GPS in a car of Taiwan is still in the stage of CDROM. But in Japan, they already have DVD  
  GPS map system and 3-D display of the map.
  
We still got a long way to catch up with.
