不知道有沒有人介紹過...

今天閒來無事，在 mytreo.net 上逛逛...

發現了個小工具，

DataVizTech 1.1

它提供方便的把 Documents To Go 程式移動到記憶卡內，
我安裝好執行後，當場 Treo 650 多出將近 4.5 MB 的空間，

程式又稱 DXTG Tech Tool，主要三個功能:

1. 把 Documents To Go 應用程式移到卡上。
2. 把 Documents To Go 應用程式移到手持裝置上。
3. 移除 Documents To Go。

另外，在 Advanced Option 上還提供了進階的程式管理功能。

我試了一下，使用上非常簡單，
Documents To Go 的執行比在手持裝置中當然慢了一些，
但是能收回這麼多記憶體空間，我覺得是值得的啦。

又去看了一下說明的 FAQ，大致是說:

由於 Palm 作業系統架構的先天限制，DTG 在啟動時會動態的複製程式及檔案到主記憶體上。當檔案關閉時，應用程式及檔案才會再被轉移到記憶卡內。您也必須注意以下:

1. 複製的過程需要一些時間，開啟一個在卡上的檔案，同時需要的程式也在卡上時，開啟及關閉的時間會明顯的延長。

2. 記憶體內必須有足夠的空間以容納需轉移的應用程式及檔案。

3. 檔案及應用程式將只會在按下 "Done" 按鍵，及檔案於裝置中關閉後，才會轉移回到記憶卡內。如果你未先在 DTG 內關閉檔案 (如: 直接按 "Home" 鍵然後執行其他應用程式)，它們將不會被轉移回到記憶卡裡去。

4. 儲存在擴充卡內的檔案可以與您的電腦同步。

Due to inherent limitations of the Palm OS architecture, Documents To Go will actively copy the application and the file to the main memory when launched. When the file is closed, the application and file will then be transferred back to the card. You also need to be aware of the following:

    * 1. The copy process takes some time. Open a file from a card that needs an application on the card will cause a noticeable delay when loading and unloading from memory.
    * 2. There must be enough free main memory on the device to hold the application and file being transferred.
    * 3. The file and application will only be transferred back to the card, if the "Done" button is tap and the file is closed on the device. It will not be transferred back if you simply leave Documents To Go without first closing the file (i.e. tap the Home button and launch another application).
    * 4. Files stored on an expansion card can be synchronized with your desktop computer.

雖然是個 freeware，
在 mytreo.net 下載時會要求您先註冊會員，

本想隨 post 附上檔案供大家下載的，
不知道 freeware 有沒有不得任意散佈的規定而作罷。

先受小弟一拜，就註個冊，下載後，按第一個－＞把程氏移到卡裏，就多2m的空間，

今天把 DXTG Tech Tool移除，結果 Documents To Go也沒了，好怪喔！不知道那裏作錯了

在 Dataviz 的網站上找到直接下載的地方，

另外，你如果跟我一樣，升級到 7.0 版後出現 "Documents To Go has detected that a previous versions of Documents To Go is installed" 訊息，

請參考: ---> Tech Support ID 13421 的方法解決。

mm...... 這個小工具我之前有用過，但是我的經驗是好像是把Documents To Go 應用程式移到卡後，使用Documents To Go的時候當機(會自動重新開機)的次數會比把應用程式放在手機上來得多的多。
不知道是我個人的問題，還是也有人有這樣的經驗......
