I had the same problem with my 901. I contacted support and got the answer right here.
Please make sure you updated your system first.
If the CNR file association does not work follow the following procedure:
1. Click on the install link so that Firefox opens a dialog and asks what you want to do with the CNR file. This is the XML document that needs to be passed to the AddSoftwareWizard but Firefox doesn't know this yet.
2. When you see the dialog, choose the "Open with" option and click on the "Browse button"
3. In the file browser, navigate to opt/xandros/bin/ and choose the AddSoftwareWizard application and click the "open" button
4. Now you should be back to the Firefox dialog. Be sure to mark the checkbox at the bottom so that this file type association is saved and so that CNR files will be opened by the AddSoftwareWizard automatically.
This worked for me.

如果是自行升級的firefox，可能沒有設好mimetype吧？firefox不知道該用什麼開，就只好直接存起來了。不過還好只要手動設過一次，以後都可以自動開啟了。作者: azazabc123 時間: 2009-2-7 22:00

我是用華碩官方的升級系統升級ff。
其實我認為用CNR來作為軟體安裝的管道是一種異常愚蠢的行為，實在難用到靠北，裝好的東西只要放錯就不能再改分類。阿我是不能apt-get喔？應要搞個CNR出來。呸。
