A few more details have surfaced for Cowon iAudio's M5:

• Chip set: Motorola/Freescale ColdFire SCF5249
• 20GB, 1.8-inch HD
• USB 2.0, Mass Storage Complient
• USB on-the-go (USB Host function)
• Color LCD display
• Supports FLAC, OGG, WMA, MP3, ASF & WAV
• Support Limited video rendition
• Radio
• Voice Record
• View text files & pictures
• Line-in recording
• Includes in-line remote

Still, some major questions remain unanswered. Will the remote feature an LCD, like the M3? Will the "limited" video support be something like the 10fps implementation on the iRiver H300? What is the LCD resolution and color depth? etc etc. We will know soon enough as the M5 could be available as early as this month. At the latest, Cowon should have it on display at CES 2005 (Jan. 6 through 9) - and we'll be there to get the scoop.
