I am running Chinese WindowsXP home edition. I have changed my my logon screen using StyleXP and it works great until yesterday. My logon screen does not show up after I turn the machine on, hence there is no way I can get into the system to fix and to fix the problem. I have done the following things:
1. Following StyleXP's online help by prssing ctrl+alt+del several times or start Windows in safe mode. Neither of them can bypass the logon and switch back to the default logon screen
2. a new logon file was created under /windows/system32 called logoos.exe
3. In my boot.ini, there is 2 selections, one of them points to the above file /KERNEL = logoos.exe
4. Microsoft's knowledge base resuggested me to DELETE the /KERNEL = logoos.exe to fix the problem (artical number 327101)
Does anyone have the same problem before? Thank for sharing.
