PalmOne has released the long awaited SD WiFi card. According to PalmInfocenter's review , the card can connect to 802.11b/g networks but will only work with two PalmOne models -- the Tungsten T3 and the Zire 72. It is said that it will let you continually use it for 1.5 to 2.5 hours.  

Previously, Brighthand reviewed the Sandisk SD WiFi card that only worked with the Zire 71 and during the PalmSource Developer Conference, a beta of the card was given as a prize to one of the contests.

The PalmOne SD Wifi card is now available for pre-order for $129.

看起來TT3/Zire 72 還可撐一陣子, 但是怎麼沒提到TW跟Treo 600能否用呢?
如果可用, 就可用這類PDA 手機玩玩VoIP了!!

而Sandisk 只能給Zire71用? 真是可惜....
$129 相當於NT.4,3xx; 臺灣目前SD wifi card已經殺到2000初頭了~

根據我看到的，包裝及說明書只有寫 "using Wi-Fi (802.11b, channels 1 - 11)" 而沒有 802.11g (不排除是有不同的版本)，軟體及說明書有六種語言介面 (沒 CJK，保固手冊及軟體授權書才有)，支援的機種也只有寫到 Tungsten T3 & Zire 72。完整的包裝有 SDIO Wi-Fi Card、安裝光碟、說明書、保固手冊及軟體授權書。系統需求如下：

Before you install the Wi-Fi card software, make sure that your handheld has at least 4 MB of free memory and your computer is running the following system software:

Windows: Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP
Mac: Mac OS 9.2.2 or Mac OS X 10.2.x to 10.3.x

當然不行, Palmsource 這次執意要自己搞了, 怎麼能把driver 給別人用?

手邊有其他SDwifi卡的朋友，可以試著看看可不可以run(應該是不行吧...)

BrightHand的SanDisk SD Wi-Fi Review就說了
PalmOS5要弄SD Wi-Fi沒想像中容易
得軟硬兼施
所以palmOne才要自己來

依照palmOne的慣例
購買主機再買週邊有折扣
可是這張卡只對應T3跟Zire72
折扣的機會...>"<

昨天在TT3上試過了Sandisk SD WiFi卡不能用,C-Guys的根本不用試,兩者是完全不同的設計.
