先說了,我不懂Palm Programming,我只是轉達DateBK5作者CESD的疑問。
希望有人可以幫得上忙,
看是上Groups.yahoo去reply or mail給CESD都可以。
希望不久的將來有支援高解析中文的Datebk5可以用....

CESD的個人email是: dewar@PimlicoSoftware.com
請大家幫幫忙吧。
至少CESD很有誠意解決這個問題

Ok, I did finally get the acer up and running under POSE.
I see two problems on this device
Day View: seems fine in regular mode, but not in small/tiny mode. To
generate the characters in small/tiny mode, DateBk5 has a special copy of
the standard English font set at 160x160 kludged in such a way that the Palm
OS will not attempt to rescale it to 320x320 (which it would otherwise
normally do). This font set was provided by PalmSource (in other words this
is an "Official" kludge <g>.
I know nothing about the issues of trying to perform this same "trick" in
Chinese. All I can suggest to you is that you go on some Chinese Palm OS
group and see if some developer has a version of the small fonts that work
with that device and which I could use. If you did that and could email me
those four fonts, I would be more than willing to produce a separate version
of DateBk5 with those fonts built-into the resources.
Otherwise, there is really nothing that I can do about this. I suppose with
many days work investigating or building a font editor, I might be able to
figure out how to add those Chinese characters to the existing fonts, but I
can't really consider that until all other avenues have been exhausted. I am
sure there are some Chinese Palm OS developers who have already done
that....
Preference dialog:
This clearly exhibits a bug in the Acer Rom as it does not draw the screen
properly. My guess is that they did not properly implement the WinScreenLock
and WinScreenUnlock API functions in the Palm OS as the screen looks
completely fractured in those dialogs (at least under POSER).
HOWEVER - if I drag another window over the device and pull it away, the
screen then redraws properly - so this may well just be a Poser issue
(unless they respond to a screen redraw event in Poser by actually sending a
FrmUpdateEvent to the Palm OS ROM itself (that seems a bit unlikely though).
Do you see the same problem on the physical device??
Cheers!
