[求助] PalmOne上的Open Box是指什麼？

在PalmOne線上購物的Factory Outlet裡，全都是掛上“Open Box”的商品。不知道這是什麼意思？

在他們的網站裡，對於Open Box僅提供90天的保固，上面的敘述是這麼說的：

Palm™ warrants that Open Box Products sold through PALM™ FACTORY OUTLET are free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the limited warranty. Scratches, dents, adhesive marks and overall external appearance on refurbished products are deemed not to be defects in workmanship or materials and are not covered under the limited warranty. Third party software and hardware are not covered under the limited warranty. The limited warranty period commences on the date of purchase. Your sales receipt, showing the date of purchase of the Refurbished Hardware Product, is your proof of the date of purchase. The limited warranty extends only to you, the original Purchaser. It is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchases the Refurbished Hardware Product from you. It excludes expendable parts.

那麼這些商品是不是因為退件處理完沒問題之後，再拿出來賣的呢？如果是的話，那麼PalmOne上的這些Open Box的貨色還真是齊全，因為幾乎所有現行機種都在這裡找得到。

一般商品應該是 SEAL(未拆封)的,
一但客戶買了回去拆了封,覺的不滿意,又拿回去退,
這時商品就必須由原廠重新整理(refurbish/remanufacture)完後再拿出來賣,
這時就以較便宜的價格售出,但是相對的保固就打了折扣!
尤其是在美國這種消費者保護制度下的國家,
這種商品最多!
