HTC likely to manufacture the Palm upgrade of the Treo600

Smartphone and Pocket PC maker High Tech Computer (HTC) is likely to land new orders from PalmOne for an upgrade version of the Treo600 PDA phone, according to the Chinese-language Commercial Times today.

The paper suggested that shipments of the new model are expected to begin in September this year.

However, HTC declined to comment on the news.
